Introduction

Game Studies Study Buddies is a show where we read books from the academic discipline of game studies. In this episode, Cameron and Michael look at Mary Ann Buckles's 1985 dissertation on adventure the Crowtherin Woods game. The book has never been published as a kind of a freestanding book although it is openly available in Internet Archive. It was not well received by her department and eventually she left academia.
