i think, as a marxis, we need to defend the promise of the enlightenment against reaction. But at the same time, we need t o critique liberalism for its failure to actually live up to the standards that it pretends to in the enlightenment. And so again, this three way fight narrative becomes very helpful here. i feel like dugan is not safe to ignore any more when he predicts what's going on with russian politics and geal politics. I'm just trying to put into place my ten thousand foot view from a dugan sort of ideological perspective.
