i want to ask you about histories, because he claims to be writing histories of madness. And i think that people thatat see themselves as traditional soracar carrying historians, would probably find all sorts of things that are wrong with the way that fuco constructs these stories. But fuco is still trying to do historiesas as you said, the history of madness was the first major book that he published. Then the history of clinical medicine, the death of man emerges in a book called the order of things,. He's trying to track transitions between different historical periods within western europe.
