Rob bowman says we desperately need more christians to become excellent in their respective fields. There's nothing wrong with becoming a mormon expert, but you should make sure that you're majoring on christian doctrine and theology before dalving into that. We need good biblical scholars, good christian, evangelical, old testament scholars who are not afraid to do primary research. And an apologetics can play a role in showing that christianityis true.
