Te taliban has been described as adhering to very austere form of islam. They were basically students, mostly the obande students from the dbandea school of hanefe thought. There was a lot ofa, it was very narrow and makeshift, sort of, you know, interpretation or whatever. But they tended to rule by the stick when where other things failed. And that was magnified internationally.
