I Was a Television Soul.

I grew up watching the soaps. And my mum and dad never switched the television off. So I loved about them. Visitors came to the house, they'd leave it on in the background. My parents were all obsessed with Miss World. It was a bit like the Eurovision. We kind of say who we thought was the best - which is sort of like Eurovision. Also, my mum was an amazing cook. Give us a dish that just fills. The day she died, the oven broke. That really happened. How old was she? Oh, she was only 72. She was far too young. Her death did something synaptic- how many years do you have left?
