Politicians seem to believe that we are all going into a neutral world in which everyone has a equal starting point. The very underlying assumptions which underpin the constant messages that we hear from politicians is fundamentally flawed, says Lord Tebbit. To glamorise or glorify like a success story isn't necessarily a compliment to your society and shows you that your society is not one in which people should be having to face what they are facing he adds.
