I think what Lewis is trying to do is to move away from this cultural idea that good people are more likely to become Christians or be Christians. I mean Lewis is very very clear that he became a Christian and actually he didn't really think very highly of himself as a young man. So if you like that's a very good example for Lewis of the role of divine providence. Do you think did he keep the same friendship groups and colleagues? Would they have noticed those differences in Lewis's life do you think?
