The Confusion Around Vector Databases
A lot of times, when it comes to databases, they're generally relatively sticky. It's hard to switch from one database to another unless you have very specific pain points or need of a certain feature. I think as developers, it is challenging to keep up with all the different new technologies that are out there. A large language model is effectively a data store. And I'm saying data stores specifically instead of database. That seems like that's where everybody should be focusing on.
