The Dalai Lama and the Chinese Buddhists
China denounces anyone that allows the Dalai Lama to visit their country. Beijing responded by canceling diplomatic meetings, delaying loans and closing border with Mongolia. There's roughly around 200 million Chinese Buddhists in China currently. And they see their choices of spiritual leaders as being as important as Tibetans.
