The Restlessness of Abram's Poems
Carl Safina: Reading a poem of his is, I imagine, like the process of thinking through a thing. And syntax itself becomes the sort of architecture for meditation. There's a restlessness there, a meditative quality there and a loneliness or a solitude. He says he writes into a space of unknowing in order to surprise myself.
