The Importance of Following Jesus

The invitation of Jesus begins with this statement of repent and believe. And I do not take away the significance of what that invitation is to become a follower of Jesus. In fact, we see all over the life of Jesus, he invites many to follow him. He prays for those who will choose to follow him even though they never met him.
