The Importance of UX Research

I came to UX on Google. So how I'm curious, what led you to that discovery? Was there somebody that you knew that was like, Hey, here's this thing? Or did you just totally stumble upon it, googling things or what happened there? And then about three or four months into the job, people started messaging me on LinkedIn and saying, Hey, I'd like to learn about UX. You have a minute to talk. Can you tell me anything about your job? "That was my big aha moment"
