I've always enjoyed taking up difficult positions and trying to defend them. I became more serious as a result of my involvement in setting up schools. That kind of made me politically more serious. Until then, I'd been fairly cynical about politicians generally. But because the free schools policy was a conservative policy, that turned me into a conservative loyalist. For instance, I've just written something very critical of the current government's approach to managing the coronavirus crisis. And could you discuss some of your work on free speech as well on those points too?
