Introduction
Ukraine voted overwhelmingly for independence in 19 91. In 20 14, massive protests erupted after the ukranian government withdrew from talks to join the eu. Shortly after that, russia annexed crimea and pro russian separatists took control of parts of ukraine's eastern regions. The conflict has rumbled on since, claiming 13 thousand lives by the end of 20 21. We asked alexander voladaski how we can help,.
