Dogs differ more in size than any other mammal species on the planet. Scientists have found a gene variant that is responsible for some broad size distinctions. There are two alels, sort of different versions of this little stretch of dana. Thre's essentially a sort of big one and a small one. And if you have double small, you're more likely to be a little dog. If you have double bi, youmore likely to be huge.
