Python: A Black Hole in Computer Science

Many people come in these waves because they see like, with five lines of code that doesn't have semicolons or many symbols, I can do something amazing. Python is interesting in that it allows the simplistic beginning, but it has kind of this high end computer science ideas and structures in there. So you don't outgrow it very often. You might outgrow it for certain situations, or it might be inappropriate for others. But for the most part, when it attracts a person, that person can just keep growing as a developer or as a scientist or as a DevOps person, whatever. In AI, things change quickly.
