Can Government Regulation Be Trusted?

Ezra Clyde: Government agencies are going to do stupid things. And it's probably better to just, you know, limit their power to the greatest extent possible if we can. But by the same token, there are all sorts of reasons, good reasons, for thinking that government regulation is essential and will endure to the benefit of the public. The Clean Air Act has had enormous positive and beneficial effects on air quality nationwide.
