Is There Something Wrong With the Church?
I think there's an encouragement in the fact that if Jesus knew this was going to be part of our story, it doesn't mean there's something wrong with the church. It means there are individuals who use the goodness of the church for evil ends, but the Lord will expose them. We can love the church unabashedly and unashamedly, and still say, hey, we need to be aware as we're walking in the doors that these things can happen. If you had told me that Russia was going to invade Ukraine, I would have been like, you're really pessimistic Colin.
