Each scout bee can only inspect five or 10 spots because bees don't go that fast. The angle of the dance shows to a tenth of a degree compass point exactly where this spot is and how far away it is from the hive if a scout is really excited they will send three more scouts to that spot and those scouts will come back and report now what's really interesting about this is all the scout bees are less than four weeks old none of the scout bees have ever scouted before so the culture of the hive is that the scouts understand what a good spot is going to be but no one's in charge of supervising this.
