Is Baptism Superior to Circumcision?

In the old covenant, circumcision was used to create ethnic daries and identities for jewish people. The act of circumcision does not have the same effects on the soul as baptism has in cleansing a person of sin. So i could see how your language mightp ither, but that would only show that a circumcision as part of the old covenant was a deficient in some ways.
