I think there's a conversation in this episode to talk about an off world cloning facility. They've essentially taken the research that the Caminoans had and they've given it to their own scientists, right? And then Dr. Pershing is clearly a legacy character of that program that's like used the Caminoan science research and continue to further do whatever the empire did. So now let's say actually doesn't realize that they've preserved the research because like in this episode, that's when she finds out.
