The Fed's Forecast for 2% Inflation in the United States
We're at 4.9% on the CPI and we were at 9 so it's come down quickly given the Fed restraint but from here on it gets harder to do. Their latest forecast which was made at the March meeting was that we would not get to 2% until 2025. We'll see if they change that when they get to June. Is that carved in stone or can they amend that? They can amend that.
