How to Execute a Good Story
The audience probably won't be tracking how long it takes necessarily like, unless you're analyzing it. But I think as the author of the story, it's really important that you know that because it's helping you like pace and understand the progression of events. So in order to do that, you sort of have to have a really clear framework of how long you want your story to take place.
