The Health Benefits of Longer Periods of Fasting

Most people think the health benefits come from a prolonged fasting period. But there's evidence that there are some benefits from also eating in shorter periods of time. For instance, when you come out of the fast and you first break that fast, there are what are called anabolic benefits. And we actually find that there's this sort of second meal effect that naturally lowers your blood sugar.
