Sir John Bell is the chair of a British biotech firm called Amunocor. The company got its start in Bell's lab more than 20 years ago. But as the company grew, they needed to find investors. They first looked inside the UK but found funding dried up there. So instead, they turned to investors in the United States where they had better luck. In 2020, their clinical trial data came back showing positive results.
