Open Source or Not?

We don't want to be shipping cripple where it to open source that's not the point in fact, quite the opposite. certificate management is as ubiquitous as the database because it is how you secure connections to your database. So everybody running any sort of non trivial software system ought to have this core infrastructure, and we want to be the ones providing it. And we do really, and truly want to provide a solution that works for everybody from people who can't afford or don't wants to use their commercial offering up to fully managed massive enterprise deploys.
