I'm pretty sure lenders actually can't choose the exact appraiser that goes out and does it. So typically, I don't even think you can choose who your appraiser is if you're doing it for a loan. Sarah Lucas: Can someone help me understand the math for seller financing? Say you are offering $200,000 on a house, you're going to put 5% down as the down payment and the seller is going to finance the rest.
