Is There Anyone in This Room Who Has Not Smoked Weed?
The Catechism is very clear that using recreational drugs are a grave, they inflict grave damage. I can say the times where I was most into weed were the time I was furthest from the church. The use of drugs inflicts very grave damage on human health and life. Their use, except on strictly therapeutic grounds is a grave offense. Condesty and production of and trafficking in drugs are scandalous practices. They constitute direct cooperation and evil since they encourage people to practice gravely crunchary to moral law.
