How to Deal With Recruiters and Hiring Managers in a Product Management Job Search

I only spoke to seven different companies about product management roles where I applied to significantly more than that. With two of those companies, I got the interviews because I was well connected and it wasn't due to my CV. The next time somebody just submitted my CV for a UX design role, and they called me for an interview,. My plan was like, okay, I'll talk to this person. So she mentioned offhand that they have an open product manager role. And I convinced her and, you know, she passed on my information to the hiring manager.
