The Differences Between the British and the Americans in the War

There are two divisions that land during the assault. The 29th is a National Guard Division raised in the United States and was brought over to the UK very early in the war in 1942. There's a difference in flexibility of approach from both these divisions. Both have the cliff shoulders to overcome which are the real strong points. These cliff shoulders enable a crossfire left and right across the beach that actually intersects in the middle where the bunker defenses were not quite complete.
