The Positive Interpretation of Kant
Schopenhauer thinks Kant contradicts himself all over the place. He says that in the first edition of the critique of pure reason, he gave straight up idealist arguments like the ones that he approves of. In fact, Schopenhauer even uses vocabulary from Eastern philosophy to describe this. It's the veil of Maya where ultimately what we experience has no foundation and is nothing.
