Political Interviewing

I see the way it's all around us. The BBC used to have full length Interviews, well, for instance, on panorama,. We always did a full length interview every year with the Prime Minister. It was a kind of obligation in January. I mean, whether a politician could come through who would ignore all that and still talk at length, I don't know. But above all, it needs commitment by the politician to a serious debate about opinion. And that's the thing that has gone missing from our politics.
