How to Cost Average in Moving Averages
The right environment to cost average in is when you're looking at moving averages that are cresting higher. If it pulls back into a space where I go, okay, that's my do or die, I'm going to buy some more. But that's only after it stops heading down. Let the market tell you that it's not going any lower before you decide you're going to buy.
