The Death of Virginia Fats
A ballistic expert confirmed one of the handguns recovered during Fats arrest on May 7, 1931 was a Colt 380. The medical examiner who performed the autopsy confirmed the gunshot wound entered her abdomen and exited through her back. A bullet from the stolen car used in the murder was compared to a test fired Colt 380 and the markings were similar. When Derringer is put to death, the state will have done away with the man not fit to live among decent people.
