I hope that the election that's coming up, I hope that that isn't going to put the breaks on it. The Chinese balloon people who are now arguing that somehow the United States is engaged in similar balloon activities,. miraculously the Chinese government didn't mention for like 10 days but now have gone on a full information press about how the United States does exactly what China is accused of having done. This is sort of right out of the classic disinformation playbook, right? Like at first you deny that anything has happened and you try and sow confusion as the Chinese did by saying that this was just a weather balloon. And then when that doesn't work, you do what aboutism and say that
