Refusal of Arrest by Race

Amongin people, and perhaps this is getting more common these days, a person might feel that resisting arrest is the right thing to do. After all, put yourself in his shoes. He did nothing wrong. Why are the copse arresting him? I don't know if we have data on the numbers of people who resist arrest by race. But i can well imagine that if it's common for african americans to believe that the only reason they have been singled out for arrest is due to racism on the part of the police, that could lead to greater levels of non compliance. No evidence that this reduces lethal violence from the side of the police....
