Is It Worth It Even to Try?
I think that we are still doing that really hard work of resetting expectations and refiguring what power looks and sounds like all of those different things so it is worth it but also we don't have to martyr ourselves on it right. It does not have to be like if I quit this job or if I stop trying to do this at 100% of the time all together I am failing my gender or my race or whatever, you know? You can find a softer wall through which there can be strides made.
