The Ontological Foundations of Materialism

I agree that materialism, in terms of vontology, is something quite far from how i think about reality. I don't, i don't think that we can trust the existence of materials as if they were reality. Even the very notion of material or matter is cultural. Not every civilization in history has had a notion that there is such a thing as matter. And so of course, the onthological foundations of materialism are, i believe, no shakei in that respect. With marxism, i think it's, even though i don't share the same e ontological starting points, i do share many of the same m ethical directions.
