Are the Labels Going to Go Away?
Spotify has democratized music in the process of doing that. So youre building bargaining power, and you're making the system much more open than it ever was. But do you not believe that labels do create some value? I mean, i think the idea that the labels are just kind collecting rents by being gatekeepers doesn't sound entirely to me. And a real question in my mind is whether or not there will be some platform, some player that is a counter to the model that felix is proposing wust modify.
