The Importance of Quantitative Train of Four for Extubation
Study: European respondents were 40% more likely than their US counterparts to believe that routine use of either conventional or quantitative train of four monitoring would decrease the incidence of residual paralysis. 20% of Europeans and 10% of Americans never use neuromuscular monitors at all.
In this part II or II series on neuromuscular blockade, we investigate the claim that a train-of-four target of 90% is important to achieve prior to extubation.
