How to Fundraise for a Startup

E-commerce enablement was super hot. Checkout was like unavoidable. You couldn't go to Twitter without seeing something about fast or bolt and stripe, mafia or shop. So that made for an environment where it pushed us to just go faster, just go to market. There's so much attention. Just go raise your hand and raise a $20 million series A like everyone else. That is the environment as we started going to market, to raise money. And on the product side, it was also like metrics don't matter. Just get the product out there, get our first cohort of customers and just go raise money.
