Are You a Philosopher?

I think of philosophy as a performance practice. I write to perform and teach to perform. And I put myself in my work out there to enable performance where performance doesn't mean something very profound by performance. So it's a long winded way of saying that I think that if I weren't a philosopher, I would be some other kind of performer. Maybe I would be an actor or maybe I'd be a musician. But the way I think of philosophy and acting in music making treats them as very kindred kinds of kinds of things. The question is, if you weren’t a philosopher, what would you do? It's almost difficult for me to wrap my mind around that question
