How to Test Hubble's Telescope

Nassa is determined not to repeat the embarrassment of hubble's first years in space. Hubble's images were out of focus because its main mirror had been polished to the wrong curvature, a mistake that wasn't detected before launch. There was a critical six month exercise in testing the entire observatory. It may be that the most challenging part of building the telescope was figuring out how to test it.
