The Houthis Continue to Attack Saudi Arabia

In July, the Emirates or the UAE announces it has completed its troop drawdown or minimization in Yemen. By August, the STC effectively assumes control of the southern governance of Aden, Abun, and Shabwa. In September, the Houthis claim to have used drones to bomb oil processing facilities in two cities in eastern Saudi Arabia. The United Nations urges both sides to maintain the ceasefire in order to prevent the pandemic from spreading in Yemen.
