Is There a Public Good?
A public good is both non rival, that is more than one person can consume the good at the same time and it is non-exclusive. And hang on now, in a technical sense, it doesn't mean stuff I want. Why don't you give a definition? Yeah, there's a clear definition. So that is a public good. The problem with the public good is how is it that people will pay for this thing because, well, if you can consume it without anybody stopping you, why should you pay?
