Through a Glass Darkly

In the previous movie, through a glass darkly by Ingmar Bergman it's a which is a wonderful film in Swedish with subtitles but very much worth seeking out. We're seeing somebody who has had an illness that is now defined as chronic because schizophrenia is a lifelong illness. In our notion we actually get inside the head of Carol, and we see her apartment distorting so we're able to experience the visual hallucinations and the auditory and the sound she hears that are not there. What makes for schizophrenia and it is the most serious of the chronic mantises, chronic meaning that it lasts a long time once once you have it you have it.
