Mises: The reason why so many people in that Mises Rothbard branch don't like Hayek is that he was insufficiently dogmatic for them right. On the other hand we've got this kind of less dogmatic school who's more open minded about liberalism and about the alternatives but they're not as dogmatic on economic methodology. So I think these sort of deeply committed liberals are sort of totalitarian when it comes to economic methodology according to my view. They need to either be you know pluralists undogmatic about everything including economic methodology or they need to be a methodological totalitarianism, says Paul Waldman.
