Introduction
Marina roscova and two fellow soviet pilots were trying to set a new record, the longest distance ever flown by women. They took off for moscow on a plane called the dina, which translates to motherland. About a day later, somewhere over this remote part of siberia, they run into trouble. Extreme cold has knocked out thei radio, and the plan begins to sink lower and lower. Rascova survives on berries, mushrooms and birch leaves.
