I suspect that the nail marks and the spear mark is to show that it was the same person who had just died a couple of days before. The New Testament writers say that he's conquered death, that he never has to suffer death again. So I take that to me and like, you probably couldn't cut him again. He wouldn't get sick, that sort of thing. And Paul speaks of this as the first group. It's a down payment. That's what we also hope for,. But interestingly, the gospels don't really make that extrapolation. They always make you a little bit more.
